Hey there parents!
Transition day is coming up in less than two weeks which means that this Sunday will be our last Sunday with the current 8th grade class. We're going to have a special message encouraging the students about their future in high school, a gift to give them, and overall have one last fun morning with them. I cannot stress this enough, please get them there this Sunday! The last two years with the kids have been so great and I really just want to end our time with them in a very special way. I have a feeling that I will probably be crying a good chunk of the morning. It's such a bittersweet time in Jr. High. On one end I'm so happy that most our students have grown into godly teenagers and it's a great feeling sending them ready into high school, but it's also sad at the same time because I won't be seeing them as often. My prayer every year of transitions is that students will thrive in high school and eventually become godly adults, but we often don't see the results until years later. My prayer remains the same for this class going into their freshman year. But before they do transition, lets have one last hoorah!! See you all on Sunday!
